Snow Day in Texas!

These days are rare here in Texas but oh so fun!!! We were at school today when it started snowing and the kids could not wait to get home to play in it. After a LOONNG drive home in the slush and two inches of snow in two hours later, we changed into our "winter woolies" and went out to play. Here they are throwing snowballs at me, kissing "Frosty" - who they picked out their own decorations for: hat (a fireman's hat), eyes and buttons (circle shaped fruit snacks), nose (a carrot), mouth (a straw - Kaden's idea and it worked pretty well I might add), and a scarf - one mommy didn't mind getting dirty, and posing for snowy pics! This was such a fun day complete with daddy coming home early, dinner, warm chocolate chip cookies with milk, and movies!
